Today, Effendi’s brother, Enrico, has passed the rainbow. With 14,5 years, Enrico was at the end of his tethers, and has fallen asleep in the arms of his beloved master and mistress, forever. Right until his end, Enrico has been their dearest and most faithful friend. From the E-litter, Enrico was the brother who was most similar to our Effendi.
Enrico, we will never forget you and will remember you as the pretty and powerful young dog, we once met.

About two weeks before his 14th birthday, Effendi has fallen in love with a black Flat Coated Retriever lady. Almost two hours, they played with each other, were running side by side kissing each other again and again. When we owners had to go home, the lovers couldn’t take their eyes off the other and turned around and around for many times. They both didn’t want to separate from each other. He still is a stud down to his last fibre: At that night, Effendi was audibly dreaming of the beautiful black lady…

„Back to the roots“: Effendi is back in Bavaria again. At the age of about 14 years, he is still very sociable and happy about every new dog friend. Here, on the outskirts of Munich, Effendi met more than 30 dogs in only a couple of days. That’s heaven for him! He only has to pass a wicket in the backyard, and he is in the middle of a large off-leash area: large dogs, small dogs, males, females – Effendi is excited and happy about each single one. In the meantime, our patio door is open the whole day: one dog after the other is waiting in the front of the wicket or is crawling under the wicket to take Effendi out for a walk or for playing. He still has the respect of males, although some are 3 ore 5 years old. It’s hard to believe, that Effendi should be a grandfather, due to his age!
